New Business Executive (NSE)

Position Summary:

The NSE is responsible for developing new business-to-business sales from mid-size to Fortune 1000 companies within assigned vertical markets. The position is also responsible for retaining, networking within, and expanding sales from key customers. This position is located in Medford, Oregon.

Essential Functions:

  • Identify key executives who are responsible for holiday gifting, incentive and promotional programs, customer retention and satisfaction programs, and other large programs
  • New customer acquisition targeting large Holiday season programs in excess of $10,000.
  • Manage and grow key customers.
  • Increase revenue by developing counter seasonal programs in excess of $10,000.
  • Lead identification and targeted prospecting to acquire new customers.
  • Networking within select existing customer organizations to grow new business revenue from other areas of the company.
  • Development of pricing and item data for proposals, memos, and follow-up correspondence.
  • Analysis of existing customer accounts and prospect profitability.

Position Requirements:

  • Proven consultative selling experience via telephone and in-person channels (3+ years in a sales position preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, and/or commensurate experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for effective face-to-face interaction with Fortune 1000 clients, including C-Level management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and present creative ideas for products and marketing plans.
  • A proven self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines while working with minimal supervision. Must be able to plan, control, and coordinate projects and associated resources, i.e. people, time, and dollars.
  • Must be able to develop proformas and professionally communicate product and pricing to the customer.
  • Must have the ability to achieve individual sales goals.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce (CRM).
  • Requires travel to key accounts and to trade shows.
