Inbound Sales Associate
Position Summary:
The Inbound Sales Associate (Call Center) provides a high level of customer service by accurately answering customer questions, assisting customers with gift giving needs, offering additional opportunities to add to their order through the offer of up sells/cross sells and telephone specials, entering and processing orders, catalog requests and change of addresses by following company policies and procedures. The associate will deliver consistent, courteous and customer care delivered in a prudent financial manner which benefits customers, associates, shareholders and the company. This position is located in Hebron, Ohio.
Essential Functions
- Process customer orders and catalog requests while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Answer customer questions pertaining to information on products, availability, costs, and arrival and delivery options.
- Use and learn sales techniques to maximize sales and service to our customers by offering customers additional opportunities to add to their orders with daily specials, up sells and cross sells.
- Monitor and maintain business and product knowledge information by utilizing all available resources (such as the master list and daily updates).
- Assist with other projects and programs and in other departments as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent, vocational training, job-related course work and or equivalent work experience.
- Experience - Some previous work-related knowledge, skills or experience desirable. The Inbound Sales Associate will maintain confidentiality in regards to customer accounts and company information. In addition, demonstrate the ability to work in and contribute to a team oriented atmosphere.
Special Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time during work shift.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 10 pounds occasionally when utilizing catalog materials and work station supplies.
