Director, Market Research

Position Summary:

The Director, Market Research is responsible for coordinating, analyzing and summarizing customer and competitive research data. This role will partner with key business units such as Marketing, Merchandising and Creative to develop specific research projects that will conclude with actionable summaries. This position is located in Medford, Oregon.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop research plans with key business leaders in Marketing, Merchandising and Creative.
  • Manage the development, analysis and summarization of research plans.
  • Develop the necessary external relationships to generate impactful research campaigns in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Develop robust communication and follow-up plan for key research projects and ongoing company information, such as net promoter scores and yearly satisfaction scores.
  • Develop a process to share competitive key information.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Market Research. MBA preferred.
  • Four to six years experience in market research, analysis and implementation that includes quantitative/qualitative research, strategy recommendation, implementation and evaluation.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, advanced analytical abilities and the interpersonal skills necessary to work successfully with senior management.
